Science
This week in science we have broke out the microscopes and learned how
to use them. Students have had a good time looking at samples of
different material and understanding the different parts of the
microscope. Next we will be turning our microscopes on living
material. Getting a close up look at the diversity of life.
Mr. Hill's Social Studies
We have started our Colonies Project and are looking into the daily life
of people in the original 13 colonies. Starting with research on
individual colonies we will be be fitting them together like a puzzle.
Students are creating personae based on the early
colonists and will be making outlines of themselves to display their
research.
